- at first you wouldn’t really know why they hang out at all
- but yoongi has a soft spot for jimin and jimin has a soft spot for taehyung
- also apparently all of yoongi’s friends??
- literally everywhere he goes tae is there like he owns the place
- but the thing that really clicks them is when tae shows up at the potions tutoring class yoongi teaches every wednesday
- its barely two days before taehyung’s final and he sits himself across from yoongi and tells him to “work his magic”
- pun intended
- yoongi was afronted bc you can not just learn an entire semester in two days
- tae just says “well if you think you’re not good enough to help me…” and thats all it takes
- yoongi glues himself to taehyung and refuses to let him rest until he can recite how to perfectly brew a forgetful potion
- “what are the three most crucial ingredients in a forgetful potion?” “i forgot” “kim taehyung i will shove this cauldron so far up your a-” “lethe river water, mistletoe berries and valerian sprigs” “thats more like it”
- his methods are questionable but tae gets 94 on his test so it’s all good
- then tae offers to buy him a butterbeer as a thank you
- “you’re a first year. you can’t go to hogsmead” “not with that attitude”
- when yoongi is promoted to slytherin prefect tae has no shame in taking full advantage
- literally he’ll be doing his last round after the curfew and tae will walk by him like it’s nothing and give him a smile brighter than his lumos spell
- “hyung what are you doing so far from the dungeons this late at night” “i’m a prefect you brat. i should be the one asking you” “well i’m far from the dungeons bc i’m not a slytherin”
- yoongi just glares at him until he giggles and answers
- turns out tae wants to witness this super rare luminescent lizard mating ritual
- “i can’t let you out by yourself” “then come with me?”
- somehow they end up sharing a blanket with a front row view to a bunch of glowing lizards yelling at eachother
- yoongi wont admit it but he blushed when tae snuggled up close
- the mood died when the lizards actually did the do
- “awwww isn’t this romantic” “i think i’m gonna puke”
- yoongi just feels extremely protective over his friends and hufflepuffs and tae happens to be both
- tae just absolutely adores him
- he looks up to the slytherin and yoongi feels warm inside
- my soft taegi heart
Taichi’s gone from “act without thinking about consequences” to “hesitate to act because of consequences” to “choose action responsibly, considering the consequences”.
My child has grown up so much!! I’M SO PROUD OF HIM. T_T
